We cordially invite you to attend the 8th International Conference IMPLEMENTATION OF MICROREACTOR TECHNOLOGY IN BIOTECHNOLOGY – IMTB 2026, which will take place in Bled, Slovenia, from 14th to 17th June 2026.

The IMTB conference aims to provide a platform for people from industry and academia working in the cross-section of microfluidics, life sciences, analytics, and bioprocess engineering. The interdisciplinary feature of the IMTB conferences enables participants to present and discuss their latest results, developments, and strategies within these complementary fields and to integrate them to gain new accomplishments for industrial implementation.

This event continues the IMTB conference series, following previous editions held in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2010), Cavtat, Croatia (IMTB 2013), Opatija, Croatia (IMTB 2015), Bled, Slovenia (IMTB 2017), Cavtat, Croatia (IMTB 2019), Portorož, Slovenia (IMTB 2022), and most recently, Zadar, Croatia (IMTB 2024).

The conference is organized by collaborative research groups from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

Invited prominent speakers from leading research institutions and industries together with participants of various backgrounds comprising chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering, medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, and biotechnology, will present their recent achievements in the field of enzymatic microreactors, cells within microdevices, analytical microdevices and bioprocess intensification and integration within microdevices.

Bled, a beautiful Alpine town on the edge of the Bled Glacier Lake, will host the next IMTB conference. Bled is known as one of the most important congress destinations in Slovenia and offers a rare blend of intact nature and cultural heritage.

We encourage you to present your work and participate in this exciting event and look forward to seeing you in Bled in June 2026 at the IMTB 2026 Conference!
